Maui Health System Helps Feed Maui This Holiday Season
Maui Health System continued its holiday tradition this year donating hundreds of turkeys to the Maui Food Bank last week. Additionally, each of Maui Health System’s over 1,500 employees was gifted a turkey to enjoy this holiday season.
Maui Health System Hosts Diabetes Day Community Health Fair
Maui Health System is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Diabetes Day – a community health fair to celebrate World Diabetes Day – on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Medical Center. The event will include informational booths, entertainment, prizes and feature guest speakers from the Maui medical community lending their expertise on diabetes prevention and management.
Maui Health System Announces Change for Patients Requesting Private Postpartum Rooms
When Maui Health System assumed operation of the state hospital in July, we continued a prior practice of charging families requesting a private postpartum room. Effective November 1, 2017, we will no longer collect fees for a private room. All patients will be given a private room if one is available when admitted.
